Membership
You must provide accurate information and use SALT HOUSE lawfully. Membership applications are reviewed by a person. We may decline or remove accounts that misrepresent identity, harm members, or misuse the service.
Hiring and barter
Members are responsible for agreeing on scope, price, timing, taxes, licenses, and the quality of work. SALT HOUSE helps members connect but is not a party to agreements between members.
Salt credits
Salt is an in-app barter credit. Salt has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and is not money or stored value. We may correct balances affected by error, fraud, or reversed activity.
Payments and fees
Paid membership and advertising charges are processed by Stripe. Cash hires booked through the app include a 5 percent platform fee shown before payment. Paid services begin only after payment succeeds.
Account deletion
You may delete your account in your dashboard. Deletion removes your profile and listings and may end access to messages, trades, and Salt.
